Fox League pushes its NRLW investment further this week, launching a record-breaking season of live, ad-break-free coverage across Kayo Sports.
The expanded 2025 competition features 71 games across 11 regular-season rounds and five finals. Two key returns headline the shift: the Warriors are back, and the Bulldogs join the NRLW for the first time. Coverage begins Thursday, July 3, with the Sharks facing the Eels live at 7 PM AEST.
Every match will stream live and uninterrupted during play on Kayo Sports, with Fox League deploying enhanced production tools including the ultra-high-speed Fox Hero Camera and exclusive player mic-ups at select fixtures. The result is more than 120 hours of dedicated women’s rugby league content, positioning the NRLW alongside major men’s codes on the platform.
Complementing the match coverage, NRLW on Fox returns as the weekly studio show. Hosted by Lara Pitt, the Thursday night program delivers interviews, expert breakdowns, and on-the-ground stories across the 30-minute format. The debut episode will include appearances from 2024 Dally M Captain of the Year Tiana Penitani, Jillaroos World Cup winner Sam Bremner, Queensland great Ali Brigginshaw, and Roosters premiership player Corban Baxter.
Kayo Sports continues to leverage its broad sports portfolio, offering more than 50 live codes including AFL, NRL, Formula 1, cricket, netball, and golf. But this NRLW season signals a clear elevation in how women’s rugby league is covered. The commitment to full-season access, expanded team count, and production innovation sets a new benchmark for domestic women’s sport on Australian television.
