FOX has sketched out its summer viewing map, leaning heavily on familiar faces and formats while slotting in a couple of new attempts to grab eyeballs during the warmer months. It’s a schedule anchored by the reliable presence of Gordon Ramsay, who gets not one but two shows, alongside returning bricks, quizzes, and the network’s established animation block, all kicking off in late May.
The network officially announced its summer 2025 premiere dates, confirming the return of several established series and setting launch times for new ventures. Will Arnett is back with the perpetually entertaining “LEGO Masters,” Gordon Ramsay launches another “MasterChef” variation and a restaurant rescue show, Jay Pharoah returns with his peculiar quiz format, Joel McHale tackles logic puzzles, and comedian Jim Jefferies enters the increasingly crowded social strategy competition space.
Things get rolling on Monday, May 19 at 8:00 PM ET/PT with the fifth season opener of “LEGO Masters,” which will feature themed builds around Star Wars, Wicked, and Batman this time around. Two nights later, on Wednesday, May 21st, Gordon Ramsay begins his summer residency. At 8:00 PM, “MasterChef: Dynamic Duos” starts its 15th season, with Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Tiffany Derry judging pairs of home cooks vying for $250,000. Immediately following at 9:00 PM is the debut of “Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service,” where the chef attempts to aid struggling eateries. FOX’s Thursday “Animation Domination” block (Bob’s Burgers, Grimsburg, Family Guy, The Great North) resumes with fresh episodes on May 29th at 8:00 PM.
June brings more game shows. “The Quiz with Balls,” hosted by Jay Pharoah, returns for season two on Monday, June 2nd at 9:00 PM. Then, on Tuesday, June 10th, Joel McHale takes the helm of “The 1% Club” at 8:00 PM, followed by the premiere of “The Snake” at 9:00 PM. Hosted by Jim Jefferies, “The Snake” is described as a social strategy competition where contestants try to identify a saboteur among them for a $100,000 prize.
It’s a fairly typical summer construction for FOX: rely on established brands like LEGO and MasterChef, keep the animation engine running, and try out a few new unscripted concepts hoping one sticks. Ramsay remains a central pillar, now tasked with propping up the entire Wednesday night lineup. Whether Jefferies can carve out space in the social deduction genre or if audiences are ready for another logic quiz remains to be seen, but FOX has placed its bets for the summer.
