FOX Nation has confirmed that Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints will return for a second season, with eight new episodes scheduled to begin in November 2025.
The high-performing docuseries—developed by Scorsese alongside Matti Leshem—broke viewership records for the streaming platform when it launched last year. Scorsese remains at the helm as host, narrator, and executive producer, with his long-time collaborator Kent Jones continuing as writer. Season two will explore figures including Saint Mary the Virgin, Saint Patrick, Saint Thomas Becket, and the recently canonised Saint Carlo Acutis.
Created by Lionsgate Alternative Television and produced through Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions, the series blends documentary and dramatization to recount stories of sacrifice, resilience, and spiritual legacy. It has become FOX Nation’s most-watched title to date, with high engagement from both faith-based viewers and documentary fans.
The recommission signals FOX Nation’s ongoing investment in prestige factual storytelling, diverging from the broader trend of personality-led docuseries and true crime formats. With Scorsese’s continued involvement, the platform is positioning The Saints as a cornerstone of its original content strategy—bringing cultural heft and audience credibility to a service typically defined by opinion-led programming.
The new season will premiere in November 2025 and run weekly through May 2026, aligning its final episodes with key dates in the Christian calendar.
The Saints season one remains available to stream on FOX Nation.
