FOX Renews “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy” and “Bob’s Burgers”

It’s no surprise to hear that FOX Entertainment has renewed their three “animation domination” staples The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers. Michael Thorn, President, Scripted Programming for FOX Entertainment made the announcement today.

The three FOX Animation Domination fan favorites, all of which are produced by Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television Animation, have been renewed for another two seasons, extending their run on FOX through the 2024–25 TV season. The Simpsons will continue to hold the record for the longest-running scripted series in television history after being renewed for a record-breaking 35th and 36th seasons. Renewals also ensured seasons 14 and 15 of Bob’s Burgers and seasons 22 and 23 of Family Guy.

The Simpsons, the Griffins, and the Belchers all call FOX home, where they star in the longest-running primetime cartoon block in television history. The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers are presently ranked as three of the top ten comedies for the 2022-23 season. This will be the fourth season for The Simpsons, the fifth season for Family Guy, and the second season for Bob’s Burgers to hold this position. Furthermore, Family Guy is FOX’s most streamed program ever and is continuing that trend this season, averaging 5.1 million P2+ viewers.
