In the series, sporting icon Freddie returns to Preston with a grand vision: to take his team on an international cricket tour to India. However, just weeks before their planned departure to Kolkata, an unforeseen life-changing accident occurs, casting doubt on whether the trip will happen at all.
The following year, Freddie reunites with his team, now with the good news that the trip is back on. Yet, as they arrive in India, the team faces the task of learning to coexist and adapt to their new surroundings. As they prepare to compete in a nation passionate about cricket, some members struggle to adjust to the challenges and unique environment of India.
