On Friday the 13th, 14-year-old Amber Dubois vanishes without a trace. The unlucky date feels like a grim omen, but with no leads, the case goes cold. A year later, terror strikes the community again when another teenager, Chelsea King, disappears from a nearby area. The devastating coincidence is too much to ignore, and widespread fear begins to grip the town.
The two cases seem tragically separate until a survivor comes forward with a story that links them, exposing a predator who has been hiding in plain sight. With the horrifying realization that a serial attacker is in their midst, police race against the clock. They must identify and stop a killer with a terrifying pattern before the calendar’s most feared date strikes again.
