The FX network has released a trailer for its new comedy series, English Teacher. The series was created by Brian Jordan Alvarez, who also stars as high school teacher Evan Marquez.
English Teacher centers on Evan’s experiences in the world of education, exploring his interactions with students, their parents, and his colleagues. In addition to Alvarez, the cast includes the talented Stephanie Koenig, Enrico Colantoni, and Sean Patton.
The president of FX Entertainment, Nick Grad, commended Alvarez’s talent “Brian is an incredibly talented writer, actor, and creator who has fully delivered on his vision for English Teacher.”
The series is executive-produced by Alvarez, alongside Paul Simms, Jonathan Krisel, and Dave King. English Teacher is from FX Productions.
All eight episodes of English Teacher are set to premiere on September 2nd.
