Hulu has announced that the limited series Say Nothing will debut exclusively on its platform on Thursday, November 14, 2024, with all nine episodes available. Based on the book by Patrick Radden Keefe, the show explores murder and memory in Northern Ireland during The Troubles.
The series begins with the disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten, in 1972. Spanning four decades, Say Nothing investigates the stories of Irish Republican Army (IRA) members, examining the extremes people reach in the name of their beliefs and the impact of radical violence.
Say Nothing stars Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe as Dolours Price and Marian Price, respectively, women who became symbols of radical politics. The series also features Anthony Boyle as Brendan Hughes and Josh Finan as Gerry Adams, with Maxine Peake playing an older Dolours Price.
Internationally, Say Nothing will premiere on Disney+ in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand on the same date, with other territories to follow.
Say Nothing is executive produced by Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Joshua Zetumer, Patrick Radden Keefe, Edward McDonnell, Monica Levinson, and Michael Lennox. The series is produced by FX Productions.
