In this Shaftesbury episode of Garden Rescue, we meet passionate gardener Sonia, who is facing a unique challenge. Sonia’s recent eye condition has made her favourite hobby more difficult, and she wants to transform her garden to evoke memories of her beloved cottage garden.
Lee and Charlie rise to the occasion, presenting their competing designs to win over Sonia. This time, it’s Lee’s vision that prevails. His design includes a hexagonal water feature and a pergola to complement Sonia’s hexagonal hut, affectionately known as the Gin Palace, and her hot tub.
Lee’s plan also incorporates a variety of plants selected to appeal to Sonia’s sense of smell and touch, creating a sensory experience. With the addition of these natural elements, Lee aims to bring Sonia’s dream garden to life and provide her with a space that is not only beautiful but also engaging and enjoyable.
