Gary Barlow’s Australian food and wine adventure continues this Friday, and this time, he’s brought a friend. He meets up with TV personality Andi Peters in South Australia for an excursion through some of the region’s most celebrated culinary destinations.
Starting in the famed Barossa Valley, the duo visits Yalumba Winery, where they try their hand at the ancient art of barrel-making. From there, they venture to Kangaroo Island, taking in the stunning scenery and encountering the island’s unique – and rather rare – bee population. No word on whether Gary serenaded the bees.
The South Australian expedition also includes a stop at the renowned McLaren Vale wine region. There, Gary and Andi get the chance to blend their own vintage with an expert winemaker described as the “Willy Wonka of Wine.” One can only hope the resulting concoction is slightly less eccentric than something you’d find in Mr. Wonka’s factory.
Tune in to ITV1 this Friday, 23 May at 2:00 PM for a taste of South Australia.
