Gavin Rossdale, the frontman of the rock band BUSH, will launch a new celebrity-driven culinary talk series, “Dinner with Gavin Rossdale,” exclusively on VIZIO’s WatchFree+ on Tuesday, February 13. The series will feature Rossdale preparing meals and engaging in conversations with notable figures from sports and entertainment.
The guests joining Rossdale at his home include tennis legend Serena Williams, entertainer Common, actress Selma Blair, author and actress Brooke Shields, singer Sir Tom Jones, and actor and comedian Jack McBrayer. Rossdale will serve as both host and cook, creating dishes as the framework for discussions about his guests’ lives and careers.
During the series, Selma Blair reflects on being a single parent and her experience with MS, while Common and Rossdale share how they overcame similar upbringings. Serena Williams and Rossdale connect over their shared musicality as well. The series will reveal new sides to each guest through these conversations.
Rossdale said he is excited that the series is coming to VIZIO. He described it as a simple idea for a program where he cooks for a guest and added, “We get to see these amazing people up close and no one held back. It’s magic to sit and eat with Sir Tom Jones or Serena Williams.”
Katherine Pond, Group Vice President of Platform Content & Partnerships at VIZIO, said, “We know our audience has an appetite for food-related shows, and with Gavin’s gift for fostering meaningful talk with these incredible celebrities, we just knew this project was going to resonate.”
The series is executive produced by Dominic Ianno, Alex Dundas, and Sarah Donnelly of Roundtable Entertainment, alongside Gavin Rossdale, and Bobby Friedman and Mike Powers of Bungalow Media + Entertainment. Jesse Davey directs, with post-production services from Gavin Barclay and Creator Engine.
