Michael, ever the pragmatist, agreed to keep the news under wraps, but not without demanding something in return. One can only assume it involves staying in Port Charles, refraining from further impulsive business ventures, or perhaps just promising to lay off the glitter eyeshadow for a while.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic in picturesque Prague (because apparently, Port Charles isn’t dangerous enough), Valentin Cassadine found himself in the crosshairs of a sniper. This international incident threw a wrench into what was presumably a lovely European getaway for Valentin, Lulu Spencer, Dante Falconeri, and Charlotte Cassadine. One wonders if this near-death experience will finally convince Valentin to invest in some decent travel insurance.
Back in Port Charles, Ava Jerome, facing mounting legal fees and a custody battle with Sonny Corinthos, turned to Alexis Davis in a desperate plea for her returned divorce settlement. Alexis, likely still reeling from whatever latest crisis has befallen her family, probably wasn’t thrilled to see Ava at her door. This financial face-off is sure to be as tense as it is impeccably dressed.
Amid the international intrigue and baby mama drama, smaller (but no less significant) conflicts brewed. Drew Quartermaine extended an invitation to Willow Corinthos for a trip to Washington, D.C., likely sparking speculation about the future of their relationship. And in a twist no one saw coming (except maybe his cardiologist), Sonny Corinthos suffered a medical emergency and collapsed in the boxing ring. It seems even the mob boss isn’t immune to the occasional dramatic swoon.
