General Hospital Monday November 25 Recap: “Truth Takes a Holiday in Port Charles”

General Hospital Key Art

Port Charles has imploded again. Monday’s episode of General Hospital delivered the kind of operatic absurdity that keeps us tuning in, even when logic takes a powder. From clandestine recordings to comatose escapes, the writers appear to be emptying every trick from the soap opera playbook.

Michael, bless his conniving little heart, secretly recorded Drew offering him the Aurora CEO position, a betrayal he promptly exposed to a furious Curtis. Apparently, “just one kiss” doesn’t quite cover the extent of Drew’s encounter with Willow. Curtis, initially promised a return to the wellness division with a pay raise, now finds himself outmaneuvered. One almost expects a slow clap from Michael, accompanied by a villainous monologue. Almost.

Lulu, in a twist that defies medical plausibility, faked her coma, escaped Turning Woods, and is now on the lam, evading the ever-sinister Cyrus. Cyrus, meanwhile, spins a yarn about transferring Lulu to a South Carolina facility, claiming collaboration with Laura. Sure, Jan.

Meanwhile, in court, Kristina delivered a tearful testimony, accusing Ava of causing her fall and the subsequent loss of her baby. Various witnesses paraded to the stand, offering conflicting accounts. Trina confirmed seeing Ava close the curtains after Kristina’s tumble, but admitted she didn’t witness the actual fall. Just as the courtroom drama reached a fever pitch, Ric Lansing threw a grenade into the proceedings, questioning Kristina’s honesty with a dramatic flourish.
