Christmas in Port Charles wouldn’t be complete without a healthy dose of family drama, and this year is no exception. Anna Devane, ever the orchestrator of heartwarming surprises, has something special planned for the holiday gathering at Maxie Jones’ house. The rumor mill suggests it could be the return of Emma Scorpio-Drake, possibly played by a new actress. The holidays are a time for familiar faces, even if those faces look a little different.
The holiday cheer might be short-lived, however, as Carly Spencer’s decision to invite Jack Brennan to Sonny Corinthos’ Christmas celebration is practically guaranteed to create tension. Will Sonny explode, or maintain a fragile peace for the sake of his children, who are already facing a less-than-ideal Christmas? Given Sonny’s history, the smart money’s on “explode,” but stranger things have happened in Port Charles.
Amidst the potential fireworks, Alexis Davis and Ric Lansing manage to call a truce for their daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis. Temporary peace between warring exes? It’s a Christmas miracle. Molly will undoubtedly appreciate her parents’ (brief) moment of unity during a difficult time.
