Trouble is brewing in Port Charles this Monday on “General Hospital.” Carly finds herself in mortal danger thanks to a champagne flute laced with poison, courtesy of Valentin. Luckily, Jack Brennan’s quick thinking prevents Carly from taking a potentially fatal sip, thwarting Valentin’s scheme before it can unfold. But the close call leaves everyone shaken and wondering what other devious plans Valentin might have up his sleeve.

Elsewhere in Port Charles, Trina’s birthday is a mixed bag of emotions. While the party is filled with painful reminders of Spencer, a thoughtful gift from Kai offers a much-needed glimmer of happiness. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn finally reaches her breaking point with Tracy. Declaring war, Brook Lynn makes it clear she’s not backing down. Sonny and Jason engage in some serious strategizing, with Sonny questioning the motives behind the recent attacks on his family.
