General Hospital Spoilers, Friday, January 10

General Hospital Key Art

Port Charles is bracing for another Friday cliffhanger, and let’s just say things are about to get messy. Ava Jerome, never one to miss an opportunity for some legal maneuvering, hopes Ric Lansing can leverage new information (likely tied to Sonny Corinthos’s recent explosive misfortune) to her advantage in the custody battle for Avery. Speaking of custody battles, the fight over Wiley and Amelia heats up, with Nina Reeves possibly calling in Martin Grey, and a courtroom showdown between him and Diane Miller looming large. Because nothing says family drama like lawyers at dawn.

Elsewhere, Nina confronts Josslyn Jacks after witnessing her less-than-subtle displeasure with Willow Corinthos at the hospital. Meanwhile, Cyrus Renault finds himself in the “right place at the right time,” which, in Port Charles, usually means someone’s about to end up on his ever-growing list of enemies. Speculation is swirling that Michael Corinthos could be Cyrus’s next target. Because when you’re a Corinthos, danger lurks around every corner (and behind every suspiciously well-placed potted plant).

Additional plot points include Ric trying to change Alexis Davis’s mind about something, Willow potentially using Michael’s medical proxy to regain control in the custody situation, Lucy Coe possibly falling into a trap set by Jenz Sidwell, Carly Spencer and Drew Cain continuing their argument, and Portia Robinson and Jason Morgan discussing what’s best for a resting Michael. Oh, and Sasha Corbin is shocked to learn about Michael’s condition. Just another day in Port Charles.
