Over in Port Charles, things are about to go from bad to worse for the Corinthos clan. Monday’s “General Hospital” is turning up the heat with a medical crisis that throws Michael Corinthos’ life into jeopardy. Thanks to Cyrus Renault’s latest act of malice, Michael’s hooked up to an IV laced with digitalis. It’s a race against time as Isaiah Gannon jumps in to try and save him, but the odds aren’t looking good. “Michael will die either way,” Isaiah grimly tells Lucas Jones, highlighting the severity of the situation.

As if a life-or-death situation weren’t enough, the Corinthos family drama continues to simmer. Carly and Willow are locked in a bitter custody battle over Wiley and Amelia, and Michael’s medical crisis only exacerbates the tension. Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves attempt to play peacemakers, but their efforts seem futile. Carly issues a stern warning to Willow, urging her not to push things too far, but Willow, armed with her medical proxy over Michael, isn’t backing down.

Amidst the chaos, Kai Taylor and Trina Robinson find moments of connection, hinting at a potential romance. Cody Bell seeks financial guidance from Tracy Quartermaine, who remains unconvinced by his plans. Lulu Spencer continues to blame Dante Falconeri for Charlotte Cassadine’s absence, while Laura Collins tries to mediate. There’s a glimmer of hope, though, as Charlotte might be reaching out soon, giving Lulu another chance to bring her daughter home.
