General Hospital Key Art

Death, deception, and a dash of dramatic irony are on the menu in Port Charleson Thursday’s episode of General Hospital. Brook Lynn Quartermaine has finally decided to come clean with Harrison Chase about the adoption of her firstborn child, a truth that’s bound to have repercussions. Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri delivers a devastating blow to Chase, revealing that Sam McCall’s death was no accident but a cold-blooded murder. This news hits Chase especially hard given his complicated relationship with Lulu Spencer.

Alexis Davis, understandably, is taking the news about Sam’s murder particularly poorly. Her meltdown in her office, with Diane Miller providing a much-needed shoulder to cry on, is a testament to the depth of her grief. But amidst the mourning, a new conflict is brewing, thanks to a monumental misunderstanding. Cody Bell, in a spectacular display of misguided assumptions, has come to believe that Jason Morgan is the father of Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s unborn child.

While Jason, ever the stand-up guy, has pledged to support Sasha during her pregnancy (with Michael Corinthos conveniently out of town), this mistaken paternity is sure to ignite a whole new level of drama. The ripple effects of Sam’s murder are spreading through Port Charles like wildfire, with Molly Lansing-Davis and Kristina Corinthos-Davis reeling from the news, Lulu wrestling with guilt, and Maxie Jones attempting to offer comfort. And then there’s Carly Spencer and Jack Brennan’s relationship, which seems to be heating up after Carly’s heroic life-saving act. What could possibly go wrong?
