Based on a newly translated version of “The Secret History of the Mongols,” the series offers a fresh perspective on the Mongol leader’s strategies, battles, and rise to power. “The Unstoppable Empire” also reveals a key decision in shaping the future of the empire – Genghis Khan’s choice of his successor, Ogedei. This selection had huge ramifications for succession plans.
