Architect George Clarke returns with a fresh batch of ingenious small builds in the Season 13 premiere of “Amazing Spaces.” From quirky campervan conversions to homes carved into solid rock, Clarke once again celebrates the creativity and ingenuity of people who think outside the (often very small) box.
In the premiere, we meet a former circus chef and their pregnant partner who are converting not one, but two lorries into a combined traveling home and restaurant. Talk about ambitious! Elsewhere, a young couple transforms a tiny city car into a rugged mini-campervan ready to tackle Arctic adventures.
Clarke also visits Monsanto, Portugal, a village famous for its unique boulder homes, where modern architecture sits side-by-side with ancient dwellings carved directly into massive rocks. This episode gives viewers a unique look at how people adapt to and transform their environments, creating extraordinary living spaces in the most unexpected places.
“George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces” premieres on Channel 4 this Tuesday, March 25th at 9:00 PM.
