Ghost Adventures: House Calls “Fear in Fort Gaines”

Zak Bagans and the Ghost Adventures crew are back, and this time, they’re not just visiting any old haunted locale. They’re tackling a haunted house attraction in Fort Gaines, Georgia, a place already designed to scare the pants off visitors. But what happens when the scares become a little too real?

The owner of this historic house-turned-haunted-attraction has summoned Bagans and his team due to some seriously unsettling happenings. It seems his mother, who lives on the property, isn’t just dealing with the usual creaks and groans of an old house. She’s experiencing what appears to be targeted attacks by a malevolent entity. Now, while I remain generally skeptical of anything that goes bump in the night (or screams in thermal vision), the idea of a haunted house actually being haunted is, admittedly, a fun premise.

So, expect the usual “Ghost Adventures” formula: lots of dark hallways, sudden noises, and Zak Bagans reacting as if he’s just seen a ghost ride a bicycle. While the over-the-top reactions can sometimes feel a bit… much, the team does often stumble upon genuinely interesting historical tidbits about the locations they investigate. And let’s be upfront, Fort Gaines sounds like it has a few skeletons in its closet (or, perhaps, rattling chains in its attic).

It looks like “Fear in Fort Gaines” is set to deliver a healthy dose of spooky atmosphere. Whether the team actually uncovers anything concrete beyond the usual spooky shenanigans, well, that’s a different story. But for fans of the show, this episode is expected to bring a new level of creepiness, given the already eerie setting.

Ghost Adventures: House Calls “Fear in Fort Gaines” airs Saturday, November 16th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Travel Channel.
