The inhabitants of Woodstone Mansion are no strangers to secrets, but this Thursday’s episode of “Ghosts” unearths one that’s been buried for nearly four decades. In “I Know What You Did Thirty-Seven Summers Ago,” Sam and Jay find themselves playing host to a mayoral fundraiser, hoping to curry favor and secure a much-needed permit for Jay’s struggling restaurant.
But their plans for a smooth evening take a detour when they stumble upon a surprise connection between the mayor and one of Woodstone’s spectral residents. The discovery sends ripples through the house, revealing a long-held secret about the mayor and her past thirty-seven year old secret. As usual, the ghosts have front-row seats to the ensuing chaos, offering their own unique – and often hilarious – perspectives.
“Ghosts” follows Samantha, who can see and interact with the ghosts of Woodstone B&B, and her skeptical husband, Jay. While Jay remains blissfully unaware of the spectral shenanigans, Samantha copes with the demands of the living and the dead with a mix of exasperation and affection.
