Dealing with a house full of ghosts presents its own unique challenges, but what happens when another living person arrives who can also see them? That’s the situation unfolding in this week’s episode of “Ghosts,” airing Thursday on CBS.
Titled “Kyle,” (written by Joe Port & Joe Wiseman and directed by Trent O’Donnell), the episode welcomes guest star Ben Feldman. He plays Kyle, a seemingly charming newcomer checking into the Woodstone B&B who, much like Sam, discovers he can interact with all the resident spirits.
Kyle’s presence naturally shakes things up a bit for Sam and Jay, as they adjust to having someone else around who understands Sam’s unusual connection. His arrival looks set to bring new opportunities for humor and heart to the supernatural sitcom, prompting questions about how the ghosts will react to him, and whether Kyle’s stay is just temporary or something more lasting.
