Ghosts A Very Arondekar Christmas Special (CBS, Thursday, December 19, 2024)

Ghosts Key Art

CBS is feeling generous this holiday season, bestowing upon viewers not one, but two new episodes of Ghosts on Thursday, December 19th. This hour-long Christmas extravaganza, starting at the slightly earlier time of 8 p.m. ET, finds Sam and Jay playing host to the Arondekar clan: Jay’s demanding father, his impossible-to-satisfy mother, and his sister Bela, who probably has her own unique brand of familial dysfunction.

As if familial tension weren’t enough, a malfunctioning water heater throws a wrench into the holiday cheer, setting the stage for a Christmas catastrophe of epic proportions. This double-dose of Ghosts aims to provide ample opportunity for both heartwarming moments and the show’s trademark quirky humor.

The ghosts, of course, will undoubtedly have their own opinions about the Arondekars, leading to potential spectral shenanigans and comical misunderstandings. One can only hope that Hetty will offer her unsolicited advice on proper Victorian Christmas etiquette, much to Jay’s chagrin. And perhaps Sasappis will finally find someone who appreciates his historical anecdotes, even if it’s just Jay’s dad, who’s probably equally as boring.

The dual episodes, “A Very Arondekar Christmas Part 1” and “A Very Arondekar Christmas Part 2,” mark the first time Ghosts has tackled a Christmas theme across a two-part story.

This special holiday double feature airs Thursday, December 19 at 8 p.m. ET. on CBS
