A new Swedish mystery-crime drama, The Glass Dome, is coming to Netflix. Based on a story by author Camilla Läckberg, the series introduces Lejla, a criminologist haunted by a childhood trauma. Léonie Vincent plays Lejla, who returns to the remote Swedish town where she was once held captive. Take a look at the trailer below.

Now living with a retired police officer, Valter (played by Johan Hedenberg), Lejla’s fragile peace is shattered when a local girl disappears. This event triggers an investigation by Lejla and Valter, which opens old wounds for Lejla. It also forces Lejla to confront her own past head-on and revisit places of her memory that she locked away. As they dig deeper, it becomes clear that the sleepy community is a hotbed of concealed truths. The inquiry raises a chilling possibility: is the past repeating itself, echoing Lejla’s own youthful ordeal? The series explores themes of trauma, buried secrets, and the insidious nature of the past.
