Hulu has begun production on its upcoming original comedy series “Chad Powers,” starring Glen Powell. Powell also co-creates, co-writes, and executive produces the show under his production banner Barnstorm Productions.
“Chad Powers” revolves around Russ Holliday, a hotshot quarterback whose bad behavior derails his college career. In a bid to salvage his sporting ambitions, Russ disguises himself and joins a struggling Southern football team as the charismatic and affable Chad Powers. The series is based on a sketch produced by NFL Films and Omaha Productions for the Eli’s Places series on ESPN+.
“Chad Powers” is a Hulu original series created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron. It is executive produced by Powell, Waldron, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ben Brown, ESPN, Anomaly Pictures, Luve Rakhe, and Tony Yacenda. Tony Yacenda serves as director and executive producer. The series is produced by 20th Television.
