GMA3: Aldis Hodge and a CMA Awards Glimpse

GMA3 What You Need To Know

Thanksgiving is looming, and ABC’s GMA3: What You Need to Know looks set to offer a pre-holiday smorgasbord of legal advice, culinary tips, and a dash of country music to spice things up. If you’re wrestling with legal quandaries amidst your turkey-basting preparations, or just eager for a taste of what the CMAs have in store, Tuesday’s episode might be worth a peek.

ABC News contributor and attorney Brian Buckmire will continue his “Better Call Brian” segment, dispensing legal wisdom to the masses. I can only speculate on the nature of these legal insights, but hopefully, they’ll involve something more compelling than disputes over cranberry sauce recipes.

For those more concerned with culinary catastrophes than legal ones, Jamila Robinson, Editor-in-Chief of Bon Appétit and Epicurious, is scheduled to drop some timely Thanksgiving cooking tips. Perhaps she’ll finally reveal the secret to a truly moist turkey or, dare we dream, a pumpkin pie that doesn’t taste like spiced sadness.

Shifting gears dramatically, Aldis Hodge, star of “Cross,” the new Prime Video crime thriller series adapted from James Patterson’s novel, will chat about bringing the legendary Alex Cross to life. Will he shed light on what new elements he brings to the character, will this series be better than the Alex Cross movies?

And for the country music enthusiasts among us, GMA3 will preview “The 58th Annual CMA Awards.” Hosted by the possibly unexpected trio of Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson, the awards ceremony is slated to air Wednesday, November 20 at 8/7c on ABC. Can this group pull of hosting the CMAs? We’ll find out on Wednesday.

GMA3: What You Need to Know airs Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. on ABC.
