Still staring down a fridge full of holiday leftovers? “GMA3: What You Need to Know” has a solution, or at least some culinary inspiration. On Thursday, January 2, 2025, the show is hosting a holiday leftovers cooking competition, featuring a trio of chefs tasked with transforming those culinary remnants into something edible.
The competitors include Rocco DiSpirito, author of “Everyday Delicious,” Frances Tariga of Tadhana NYC, and Tatiana Rosana of The Envoy hotel. Their creations will be judged by a panel of discerning palates, including renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson of Hav & Mar. Adding a touch of comedic flair to the proceedings will be actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, along with rapper and producer Master P.
Whether these judges possess any genuine culinary expertise is a question for another day. “GMA3: What You Need to Know” airs Thursday, January 2, at 1:00 p.m. EST on ABC and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. EST on ABC News Live.
