On Thursday, June 6, 2024, GMA3: What You Need to Know welcomes celebrity chef Eric Adjepong, actress Olivia Munn, and music superstar Cyndi Lauper to the show.

Eric Adjepong, a first-generation Ghanaian-American chef, is known for infusing West African flavors into his dishes. He gained recognition as a finalist and fan favorite on Top Chef Season 16 and has since hosted Alex Vs America on Food Network. Adjepong has also authored a children’s book, Sankofa: A Culinary Story of Resilience and Belonging, and is working on his first cookbook.

Olivia Munn joins the show for an interview with Michael Strahan, in which she opens up about her breast cancer journey and fertility issues. Munn, who underwent a double mastectomy and several other treatments, shares her experience battling stage 1 aggressive Luminal B breast cancer. She also discusses her decision to undergo egg retrieval and her plans for the future with her partner, comedian John Mulaney.

Cyndi Lauper, the Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning artist, is honored as the WeHo Pride Parade Lifetime Ally Icon. Lauper, a longtime advocate for LGBTQ rights, women’s issues, and social justice, is recognized for her work in bringing LGBTQ issues and social justice to the forefront and expanding queer representation in mainstream pop culture. She has co-founded True Colors United, a nonprofit combating homelessness among LGBTQ youth, and launched the Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights Fund to support women’s rights and health.
