On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, GMA3: What You Need to Know welcomes chef Frances Tariga, comedian and actress Ms. Pat, and the cast of HBO’s “We’re Here,” including drag queens Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Jaida Essence Hall, and Latrice Royale.

Frances Tariga, a 33-year-old executive sous chef at Catch NYC in New York City, will be teaching viewers how to make summer sushi. Born and raised in the Philippines, Chef Tariga specializes in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine and has worked for several royal families worldwide. She speaks six languages and has a passion for cooking, particularly with pork, a staple of her diet growing up.

Ms. Pat, a comedian, writer, producer, and actress, joins the show to discuss her role in the BET series “The Ms. Pat Show.” The Emmy-nominated series is based on her real-life story of transitioning from an inner-city drug dealer to a suburban mom. Ms. Pat brings her honest brand of comedy to the courtroom in her new role as a TV judge, ruling on real-life cases with humor and heart.

The cast of “We’re Here,” an Emmy Award-winning HBO series, will also be on the show. The series follows renowned drag queens Sasha Velour, Priyanka, Jaida Essence Hall, and Latrice Royale as they spread love and connection through the art of drag across small-town America. In Season 4, the queens work with participants in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, exploring recent anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and its impact on the community.
