On July 1, GMA3: What You Need to Know welcomes a diverse group of trailblazing women, including Blueland CEO Sarah Paiji Yoo, Sidus Space founder and CEO Carol Craig, harpist Brandee Younger, and record-breaker Aaminah Abdrabboh.

Sarah Paiji Yoo, the co-founder and CEO of Blueland, joins the show to discuss her mission to revolutionize conventional cleaning and personal care products. Blueland aims to eliminate the need for single-use plastic packaging, offering innovative, eco-friendly, and affordable alternatives. Since 2019, Blueland’s products have helped prevent over 1 billion single-use plastic bottles from ending up in landfills and oceans. Yoo, a serial retail entrepreneur, previously co-founded and led Snapette, a mobile platform for local fashion shopping, which was sold in 2013.

Carol Craig, the founder and CEO of Sidus Space, a multi-faceted Space and Data-as-a-Service satellite company, discusses the role of artificial intelligence in satellite operations and the advancement of space and ground systems technology. Craig, a navy veteran, is also the founder of Craig Technologies, an aerospace and defense contracting company. She has served as President of the San Diego Chapter of NDIA and is known for her inspirational leadership.

Brandee Younger, an American harpist, educator, concert curator, and bandleader, joins the show to discuss her musical career. Younger infuses classical, jazz, soul, and funk influences into the harp tradition, working with renowned musicians such as Ravi Coltrane, Jack DeJohnette, and John Legend. She has performed at prestigious institutions worldwide and is featured in the book “The New Face of Jazz” by Cicily Janus.

Aaminah Abdrabboh, a 12-year-old Dearborn native, made history by becoming the first hijabi female to win gold at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) Pan Kids Tournament. Abdrabboh, who started training at age 7, has helped break down barriers and change the stigma surrounding the hijab in sports. Her victory inspires other Muslim girls to pursue their passions and break stereotypes.
