Going Dutch Sees the Colonel Go Rogue in “Tanks for Nothing” (FOX, Thursday, January 9, 2025)

“Going Dutch,” FOX’s new military comedy, continues its inaugural season with second episode “Tanks for Nothing,” an episode that tests the limits of the Colonel’s already fragile ego. When Gen. Davidson graces USAG Stroopsdorf with a visit, his condescending remarks about the base (and the Colonel’s leadership) leave a sting. Adding insult to injury, the Colonel gets assigned traffic duty during a tank maneuver, a task he considers beneath his considerable rank.

But what’s a bruised ego to do? If you’re the Colonel, the answer involves a potentially ill-advised tank heist. Yes, you read that correctly. Driven by a primal need to prove he’s still a force to be reckoned with, the Colonel embarks on a mission to “borrow” a tank, likely leading to a series of increasingly ridiculous events. Will he succeed in reclaiming his dignity (and a very large military vehicle)? Or will his grand scheme backfire in spectacular fashion?

“Going Dutch” continues to explore the absurdities of military life with a healthy dose of workplace humor. Tune in to see if the Colonel can pull off the ultimate power move or if he’ll be facing a court-martial.

“Going Dutch” airs Thursdays at 9:31 PM on FOX.
