Ernie Dingo, the Aussie adventurer, is back. This time, he’s crisscrossing the continent with the casual ease of someone flipping channels on a Sunday afternoon. In this installment of “Going Places,” Dingo tackles the rugged beauty of Coral Bay on Western Australia’s coast. Forget your standard tourist traps, Dingo’s opting for a 4WD cultural tour, because why take the paved road when there’s red dirt to be conquered?
While Ernie’s kicking up dust down under, his trusty companion, Mark, is scaling new heights – literally. He’s trading in the outback serenity for some adrenaline-pumping rock climbing in Western Australia’s Great Southern region. Clearly, admiring the landscape from ground level is for amateurs.
Meanwhile, over in Queensland’s Gulf Country, Aaron’s on a quest for that most elusive of quarry: the barramundi. Will he succeed? Will he land the big one and become a legend in his own lunchbox? Tune in to find out. (Don’t actually hold your breath though, fishing can be slow.)
“Going Places with Ernie Dingo” airs Thursday, December 26 at 7:30 PM on SBS.
