On Friday, May 17, Good Morning America welcomes New Kids On The Block, ABC News reporter Jaclyn Lee, GRAMMY® Award-winner John Oates, and actors Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy.

New Kids On The Block, the American boy band from Dorchester, Massachusetts, rose to stardom in 1989. The group, consisting of brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood, has sold over 80 million records worldwide. They are known for hits like “You Got It (The Right Stuff)” and have received numerous accolades, including two American Music Awards in 1990.

Jaclyn Lee is an ABC News reporter who will be covering dragon boat racing, a Chinese tradition that dates back more than 2,000 years and has gained popularity in the United States. Lee will be reporting on the sport and its cultural significance, as well as the personal connections that participants have formed through their involvement in dragon boat racing.

John Oates is an American musician, best known as half of the rock and soul duo Hall & Oates, alongside Daryl Hall. Oates is a talented guitarist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has co-written numerous top 10 songs, including “Sara Smile,” “She’s Gone,” and “Maneater.” In addition to his musical career, Oates published a memoir, “Change of Seasons,” in 2017, and released an album with his backing band, “The Good Road Band,” in 2018.

Actors Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy will be on the show to discuss their upcoming film, “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” The post-apocalyptic epic is a prequel to the 2015 film “Mad Max: Fury Road” and will reveal the origins of Imperator Furiosa, played by Taylor-Joy. The film is directed by George Miller and is set to hit theaters on May 24.
