GMA: Dwayne Johnson, Latin Baking, and Veteran’s Day Tributes

Good Morning America

Let’s be honest, the Venn diagram of people excited for both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and artisanal pan dulce probably has a pretty sizable overlap. This Monday, November 11, ABC’s “Good Morning America” is banking on that crossover appeal, offering viewers a mix of Hollywood muscle, Latin American baking, and Veteran’s Day tributes.

First up, Johnson is set to appear, to talk about the upcoming “Moana 2.” Then, shifting from blockbuster cinema to the comforting aroma of freshly baked bread, chef Bryan Ford will be on hand to discuss his new cookbook, “Pan y Dulce.” Ford’s book explores the rich tradition of Latin American baking, with recipes ranging from classic arepas to more elaborate pastries. The cookbook has already garnered praise, with bread-baking guru Maurizio Leo (author of “The Perfect Loaf”) among its admirers. Expect some on-air demonstrations or at least some mouth-watering visuals.

“Good Morning America airs Monday, November 11, 2024 at 7.00am on ABC.
