Look, 500 episodes of anything is a lot, even reruns of The Office. So, when Dancing with the Stars hits that milestone, it’s worth at least a round of applause. ABC’s Good Morning America seems to agree, rolling out the commemorative carpet with a special retrospective on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Expect the usual assortment of glitter-dusted flashbacks, awkward celebrity shuffles, and quite possibly a Len Goodman sighting (though whether that’s archival footage or a live appearance remains shrouded in mystery).
While nostalgia is generally a losing battle, GMA also aims to ground things in something vaguely resembling reality with a segment on continuous glucose monitoring presented by contributor Robin Arzón. This increasingly popular technology helps individuals track their blood sugar levels in real time, offering potential benefits for managing diabetes and promoting overall metabolic health. Arzón’s segment will likely address the growing interest in CGM and its implications for preventative care.
As the holiday season ramps up, we also get a dose of festive cheer courtesy of John C. Reilly, who apparently now moonlights as a cartoon owl whisperer. He’ll be on GMA discussing his new animated short, An Almost Christmas Story. It involves an owl, a Christmas tree, and Rockefeller Plaza – which, admittedly, sounds like the start of a terrible improv game, but hopefully translates into something heartwarmingly watchable. Reilly voices a folk singer, which seems… fitting.
Good Morning America airs Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
