On Wednesday, May 29, Good Morning America welcomes country music star Lainey Wilson, GMA lifestyle contributor Lori Bergamotto, and Oscar-winning director Ron Howard to the show.
Lori Bergamotto, a GMA lifestyle contributor, joins the show to test and find the best flip-flops on National Flip-Flop Day. Bergamotto is a style director at Good Housekeeping Magazine and a contributing style editor at Lucky Magazine. She has also contributed to Yahoo News Malaysia, TODAY, Glamour, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, VegNews, and WMTW-TV.
Lainey Wilson, a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter and actress, joins the show to discuss her recent projects. Wilson’s sophomore album, “Bell Bottom Country,” topped Billboard’s Top Album Chart and Country Albums Chart, with over 650 million streams to date. She has co-writing credits on songs by artists such as Luke Combs and Ashley McBryde. Wilson made her acting debut in Season 5 of Paramount’s “Yellowstone,” playing a musician named Abby. She is currently on her Country’s Cool Again Tour and will be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on June 7, 2024.
Ron Howard, the Oscar-winning director of films such as “A Beautiful Mind” and “Apollo 13,” discusses his new documentary, “Jim Henson: Idea Man,” which premieres on Disney+ on May 31, 2024. The film provides an intimate look at the life and work of Muppet and Sesame Street creator Jim Henson, featuring interviews with his family, friends, and collaborators, as well as never-before-seen personal archival footage, photographs, and sketches.
