Good Morning America

On Friday, May 3, Good Morning America welcomes actress Hannah Einbinder, best known for her role in the HBO Max series Hacks, and the rock band Sum 41 to the show.

Hannah Einbinder, an American comedian, actress, and writer, joins the show to discuss her role as Ava in the Emmy-nominated series Hacks. Einbinder, the daughter of original Saturday Night Live cast member Laraine Newman, is a graduate of Chapman University, where she studied broadcast journalism and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in television writing and production. Einbinder made her national television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in March 2020, becoming the youngest person to perform a stand-up set on the show.

Sum 41, a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario, joins Good Morning America as part of their farewell tour. The band, formed in 1996, consists of Deryck Whibley, Dave Baksh, Jason McCaslin, Tom Thacker, and Frank Zummo. Sum 41 gained mainstream success with their debut album, All Killer No Filler, which featured the hit single “Fat Lip.” The band has since released several successful albums, including Does This Look Infected?, Chuck, and Underclass Hero, and has been nominated for multiple awards, including the Grammys and the Junos.
