On Friday August 23, Good Morning America welcomes actress Kerry Washington and musical duo Sofi Tukker to the show.
Sofi Tukker, consisting of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, are known for their Grammy-nominated songs “Best Friend” and “Drinkee”. The duo’s latest album, Wet Tennis, was released in April 2022, and they are currently on The BREAD Tour, with upcoming performances at the Franklin Music Hall and Roadrunner-Boston.
Kerry Washingtonjoins the show to discuss the second season of her Hulu series, UnPrisoned. The series, inspired by creator Tracy McMillan’s life, follows Paige Alexander (Washington), a single mom, relationship therapist, and social media influencer. Paige’s dad, Edwin (Delroy Lindo), moves in with her and her teenage grandson after being released from prison.
