After launching Season Two of Next Level Chef, the season’s #1 broadcast series, immediately following Super Bowl® LVII, Gordon Ramsay now turns his attention to the business world in the form of FOX’s brand-new competition series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars. This FOX series, which follows the premiere of MasterChef Season 13 at 10:00 PM ET/PT on May 24 at 9:00 PM ET/PT, puts food industry entrepreneurs through a series of challenges designed to demonstrate their business acumen, test their determination, and ultimately convince Ramsay to invest $250,000 in their ventures.
In his new competition series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, the legendary chef and restaurateur gets down to business with a handpicked group of professionals from the food and drink industry in quest of the next great culinary entrepreneur. Every week, the would-be business moguls will face new tests of their skills in creating, marketing, and selling their food products to paying consumers. Their development will be assessed not only by Ramsay, but also by special guest judges and carefully selected study groups. With Ramsay’s relentless pressure, the competitors will have to show they have what it takes to win: willpower, focus, originality, enthusiasm, and skill.
The winner will receive an investment opportunity from Ramsay to help them take their concept to the next level. It will require more than a brilliant plan to win over Ramsay, though. They need only avoid losing their one and only angel investor, Gordon Ramsay.
With a brand new concept for its upcoming 13th season, MasterChef: United Tastes of America returns on May 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ETPT) with Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez, and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich for the ultimate cook-off, pitting the best home cooks from the West, Northeast, Midwest, and South against one another. A State Fair challenge, a series of iconic Mystery Box challenges, preparing a meal at Dodger Stadium, and the fan-favorite Tag Team event, in which the home chefs must prepare a Michelin-star quality three-course meal, are just a few of the culinary trials the contestants will face. Only one home chef can claim the title of America’s MasterChef and the $250,000 prize money.
MasterChef is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam.
