In the season four finale of Grace, the body of a former Brighton offender is found under gruesome circumstances. While his wife insists that he had reformed, evidence suggests otherwise, indicating that he may have been involved in his old tricks.
As Detective Superintendent Roy Grace (John Simm) and his team begin their investigations, Roy receives a call from a police contact in New York, drawing a connection to two crimes in France that bear the marks of a US mafia hit. The investigation takes an urgent turn as the police rush to find a woman believed to have fled to Brighton, knowing she could be in grave danger.
However, Roy and his team are not the only ones searching for her. A deadly former adversary emerges, adding tension and danger to the pursuit. To make matters even more challenging, a death in a neighboring county provides a crucial missing piece to the puzzle, revealing the presence of a dangerous killer in Brighton with a distinctive MO.
Roy sets a daring trap, but it comes with a risky proposition: putting one of his team members in potential danger. Will Grace give the green light to this risky operation? Will they be able to capture the offender before it’s too late?
