Hulu has locked in a late-summer launch for its high-stakes limited series The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, with the first two episodes dropping Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
Grace Van Patten headlines the eight-part true crime drama as Amanda Knox, the American exchange student who spent years under global scrutiny after being wrongfully convicted of murder in Italy. The series will roll out weekly on Wednesdays, concluding October 1.
Created by KJ Steinberg, the project brings together a high-profile producing team that includes Amanda Knox herself and Monica Lewinsky—an undeniably headline-grabbing pairing behind the scenes. The series is produced by 20th Television, The Littlefield Company, and Knox Robinson Productions.
The cast also includes Sharon Horgan, John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico, and Roberta Mattei.
