The BBC has secured its flagship chat show for the foreseeable future, signing a new three-year deal with Graham Norton and production company So Television. The agreement covers three additional series of The Graham Norton Show, ensuring it remains on BBC One and iPlayer.
The new deal will begin in 2026 with the show’s 34th series. The program remains a ratings anchor for the network; the most recent series averaged 2.9 million viewers per episode. It is also a significant digital property, generating millions of video views across its global social media channels.
Since its launch on BBC Two in 2007, The Graham Norton Show has become a Friday night staple and has won multiple BAFTA, National Television, and RTS Television Awards.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, commissioned the new series. The executive producer for So Television is Graham Stuart.
