Fishing, France, and a bit of friendly rivalry – that’s the recipe for this week’s “The Grand Fishing Adventure” on ITV4. Ali Hamidi and Bobby Zamora head to Iktus in France for the first half of a two-part special. Their objective? Catch a koi each and a carp weighing over 50 lbs, all while being observed by underwater cameras. Easy, right? Not so much.
This episode finds the guys wrestling not just with fish but with temperamental underwater equipment. As the carp retreat to the murky depths, avoiding the cameras’ gaze, Ali and Bobby’s fishing skills – and patience – are put to the test.
