In this seventh episode of the Great British Home Restoration’s second season, architect Charlie Luxton meets forward-thinking homeowner Lucy, who has embarked on a challenging mission to rescue, restore, and future-proof a dilapidated 19th-century coach house in Kent. Lucy, a former Londoner who relocated to the countryside in 2001, purchased the Grade II Listed coach house, which dates back to the 1860s.

The property originally served as living quarters for the coachman and his family and included an attached garage and stable block. Lucy has set herself the ambitious task of transforming this long-neglected structure into a modern, luxurious, and energy-efficient home, creating a comfortable space for her family to visit and stay.
