ITV is taking some of its most familiar faces out of the studio and into sunnier climes with The Great Escapers, a new four-part travelogue format backed by Jet2holidays.
Set to film in Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Malta, the unscripted series features talent drawn from across the ITV universe—including names tied to Coronation Street, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, The Chase, and Loose Women—as they embark on their first group holiday together. The hook: three celebs per episode take turns curating the ultimate vacation day for their fellow travelers. The rest vote on who pulled off the best itinerary, with one crowned “The Greatest Escaper.”
The series comes from South Shore, with Jet2holidays on board as co-funder and in-show partner. Their staff will serve as “customer helpers,” embedded in each location to guide the celebs through activity planning and logistics. Off-screen, Jet2 is expected to launch a slate of viewer-facing promotions and tie-ins to amplify reach.
The Great Escapers leans into feel-good escapism and celebrity relatability, offering both a glossy travel backdrop and a bit of friendly competition. It also signals a continued push by ITV into hybrid formats with clear brand integration and broad cross-demo potential.
