FOX’s animated comedy “The Great North” returns this Sunday with its particular brand of Alaskan absurdity. “It’s Compli-skated Adventure” presents a seemingly random assortment of plot points, from bedtime stories for musical guests to the unwelcome return of a romantically obsessed stalker.
In this episode, Judy takes on the task of soothing the anxieties of Alanis Morissette with a bedtime story. Meanwhile, Beef finds himself facing a familiar foe in the form of Zelda Blop, his relentlessly enthusiastic (and slightly terrifying) stalker. How these two threads will intertwine remains to be seen, but given the show’s track record, expect the unexpected.
With a talented voice cast featuring Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Will Forte, and, of course, Alanis Morissette herself, “The Great North” consistently delivers laughs with its quirky characters and offbeat humor.
