Alaska’s first family of quirky comedy, the Tobins of “The Great North,” are back with a new adventure this Sunday. In “Jude-night Run Adventure,” a simple dinner plan turns into a frantic search and a scramble for a replacement dining companion.
When Judy goes missing – a not-so-uncommon occurrence given her artistic pursuits often take her far from the family fishing boat – it’s up to Wolf to track her down. They have reservations at a fancy French restaurant, and missing that is simply not an option. Meanwhile, Honeybee embarks on her own mission, finding a replacement dinner guest to fill Judy’s now-empty seat.
With a voice cast that includes Nick Offerman, Jenny Slate, Will Forte, and Megan Mullally, along with a recurring guest appearance by Alanis Morissette as an imaginary version of herself, “The Great North” consistently finds humor in the everyday chaos of family life.
