Wolf Tobin, the resident dreamer of Fox’s animated sitcom The Great North, finally gets his big break this Sunday. He’s been cast on “Dropped Off To Die,” Alaska’s premier (and possibly only) survival show. Sounds like a perfect fit for an outdoorsy Alaskan type, right? Wrong. Turns out, Wolf’s survival skills are…less than stellar.
After an embarrassingly early exit from the show, shame sends Wolf slinking back to the Tobin family homestead. But instead of facing his family’s inevitable teasing, he decides to go full wilderness recluse, hiding out on the property in a desperate attempt to avoid detection.
What follows is a predictable but amusing series of near-misses and increasingly ridiculous hiding spots. Will the Tobins discover Wolf’s charade, or will he manage to maintain his illusion of rugged self-sufficiency? “The Prince of Hides Adventure” airs Sunday at 9:00 PM ET on Fox.
