History Channel’s The Green Way Outdoors returns for its second season, and this time, host Kyle Green is trading his usual hunting grounds for the Pacific. In “Fishing Hawaii,” Green, accompanied by his friend Jeff, tackles the vibrant waters surrounding the Hawaiian islands.
While the title might suggest a leisurely angling trip, this episode looks to be anything but tranquil. The duo will be facing not only the usual fishing challenges but also some thrilling encounters with sharks and manta rays. And if swimming with these ocean giants isn’t enough, Green is set to take a daring 40-foot leap from a cliff. One can only assume waivers were signed.
The Green Way Outdoors, thankfully, doesn’t just focus on adrenaline-fueled stunts. The show also aims to offer educational value, providing viewers with insights into the wildlife they encounter and the importance of preserving their habitats. Let’s just hope the educational segments don’t involve a post-cliff jump examination of Green’s skeletal structure.
The Green Way Outdoors: Fishing Hawaii airs Saturday, November 9th, 2024, at 9:00 AM on History.
